Regional Co-ordinator for the International Felt Makers Association, Devon and Cornwall
I have had a love of textiles since I was a teenager, and have enjoyed dressmaking and knitting for many years. When I discovered felt-making five years ago at Bicton College I became hooked and I have enjoyed exploring many of the possibilities felt has to offer. My main focus at the moment is making wearable pieces such as scarves, wraps, jewellery, bags and wrist warmers. I am particularly drawn to using a vibrant colour pallet and this is reflected in my work. I combine silk fabric with merino and other wools to create soft, light wearable pieces.
