“I’ve previously had many different jobs…..bank clerk  (which I hated), groom in a livery stable, sales rep in fast moving consumer goods, teaching auxiliary, nursing auxiliary, fitness instructor, reflexologist and NHS podiatrist.  But always a frustrated artist! Drawing and painting in acrylics and finally finding solace and fulfilment in fluff.

I discovered and found comfort first in needle felting before realising that there were other ways to work with felt. Enthused, I enrolled for the fibrecraft course in 2016/17. What a revelation!
I live with my long suffering partner Steve and our dachshund Peggy in a Cornish cottage in Bude filled with fleeces, a drum carder and all things felting … and I think I may have at last found my true path.

I have a particular interest in making wearable art, having made a full length ‘nebula’ coat as my final piece for the Fibrecraft course.  I love a challenge! ”
