Angela Bache

I attended Bicton college in 2015 and completed level 2 fibrecraft and in 2016 completed level 3 fibrecraft.

I  Have always from a young child, been very involved with knitting, embroidery in all its forms, dressmaking, and creative crafts. A trip to craft4crafters at Westpoint, Exeter in 2014 inspired me to enrol on the course at Bicton and start felting. But it has given me skills far beyond this for example; natural and procion dyeing, incorporating silk fibres and fabrics, design concepts, merchandising and networking.

I breed Angora goats for their Mohair and I try to incorporate Mohair in most things that I make as well as dyeing the lustrous threads for the craft market. I also like to introduce texture into my work, and rich vibrant colours. I am inspired by nature and flowers, and to date I have tended to produce pictures, wraps and vessels. I continue to attend workshops and am continually developing my skills and ideas.

I have displayed work at Craft4 crafters, Exeter and Shepton Mallet and also Bovey Tracey craft fair.
